In a study conducted in Ontario, it was found that 66 percent of the students surveyed said that they had drunk alcohol that year. This rate has actually increased in the previous years. But it seems that people don’t drink as heavily as they did before. The rates of students who drink more than 5 drinks in one sitting have gone down by 14 percent.

Alcohol drinking is illegal when you are under the age of 18 years old. The statistics are alarming to the school officials and the officials truly want to stop this illegal drinking from happening in Ontario.
